The Commerce
Ball fast approaches, and your Commerce Students' Association team is
working tirelessly to ensure that this year's event will go down in
Auckland University history as a night of epic proportions.

to the heart and keep you on your toes. Look out for AUCSA promotions
around the OGG soon.

John Drake
Memorial Rugby
|

The
John Drake Memorial Interfaculty Rugby Tournament is the most
prestigious sporting event at Uni. This year, Commerce wants the
biggest piece of the action.
We’ve
got plans kiddies, get excited. The tournament is between the big
four: Med, Law, Eng and Commerce. The games will be in a round robin style
on Saturdays straddling the mid-semester break in the second
semester. And we plan to win. There will be trials, coaches,
trainings...and glory.
You’ll
be hearing a lot more about this soon. Keep an eye out for the
promotions going on around the OGG. Meanwhile, start hitting your
friends up; we need to find the Commerce Rugby talent.

Andrew Ferrier
Thanks to everyone who came to Meet the CEO: Andrew
Ferrier, he definitely had some words of wisdom that
"Strategy" by De Wit and Meyer couldn't offer (a $120 text book for MGMT
302).
This event was promoted with our Facebook group
messaging function as well as standard AUCSA loop emails. The
Facebook response was great, so in future we'll be using it more
often. Become a
member to be kept up to date in this way!

New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants has
launched a website for students, FlyHigher.
It’s a pretty sweet resource for you Accounting and Finance
majors, or those of us who haven’t quite got as far as course
planning and want to know more about that particular path to success.
